Laurie Bird was an actress who committed suicide in 1979, at 25 years old. She appeared in the movie Two-Lane Blacktop (directed by Monte Hellman, released 1971) as "The Girl", the movie Cockfighter [Born to Kill] (also Monte Hellman, 1974) as "Dody White Burke", as well as a minor role in the movie Annie Hall (Woody Allen, 1977) as Tony Lacey's Girlfriend. I assume "Cockmotherfighting" is named after the movie Cockfighter. The "Orisha" seem to be a group of many divine spirits in the west African Yoruba religion.
